Just like another gifted Italian, like my husband, your layout is GREAT. Orlando started this layout about 4 yrs. ago before he had 2 strokes. Moved back to NY. and with our sons, myself and daughter are continuing the layout. Presently working on a western as well. Orlando was art director for Lionel Trains for 10 yrs. Where did you get the HO people? Please write back. Orlando is 84 yrs. young. Buono Natale!!! Orlando & Alice |

I have now read your article in the January issue of the Model Railroad. You have provided many a modeler with a challenge to create a layout with such detail. Congratulations. May GOD grant you many more years to enjoy the pleasures of your handyworks.
May you have a Very Merry CHRISTmas and a Happy New Year. |

very, very nice. I wish my layout looked half as good as yours. I am working on it. I am planning an expansion of about 24 more sq ft. That will open up a good sized area.

I tried to leave a message here the last time I visited, but it would not accept it for some reason. I keep coming back to your site since it is, without a doubt, the best layout I have ever seen. Your details on the layout are spectacular to say the least. I know that once I get my site up and running it will not be anywhere near yours but I am looking forward to getting it operating just for the fun of doing it. Your night graphics on the site are wonderful. Keep up the good work. Rick, Ohio, USA |

You have created high art in my opinion. Amazing detail and realism, and also great emotional energy in the look and feel of the choices you make. I am a professional photographer in NYC USA, and I had an extensive HO layout in my basement as a child, in early 1950. I spent many days building and painting and glueing, and trying to make it real. I made mountains and tunnels, and put lights in all the buildings. Every birthday and Christmas I asked for train things. I was amazed when I looked at the wires under my table. Today I was thinking about photo projects and I thought it would be fun to find beautiful train layouts and photograph them with very highend digital cameras, with lighting that would capture the realism, night and day. Then make huge prints for a gallery show. That is how I ended up finding your website. You are a master builder. Good luck to you, and thanks for the memories.
