Incredible railroad modeling. You are my inspiration, as are the Rocky Mountains that sit right to the west of my little town. We have a guest room if you ever want to visit the Rocky Mountains, again. We are less than an hour from Rocky Mountain National Park. Also, we have a superb "club railroad" (HO scale) that I could give you a tour of (very large and a model of the Rocky Mountain area, also). Best, Stan |

oggi, nel pomeriggio, ho rivisto il DVD della Tall Pine; un immagine. nella parte 1, mi ha particolarmente colpito: quella in cui la 2-8-0 Consolidation ( United ) , in testa ad un convoglio di log-car, transita sul Francie trestle e poi entra in galleria; ha mai pensato di inviarne una foto a Model Railroader? la sapiente illuminazione, il paesaggio e lo sfondo la rendono, a mio parere, molto suggestiva; sembra una scena tratta da un film.

buona sera, ieri ho lasciato un commento ( ed una richiesta ) superficiale. Poi ho sfogliato ancora il sito ed ho visto "il ponte" ed ho forse in parte intuito che rappresenta un "monumento" al Suo Amore ( non mi riferisco al ferromodellismo ) a Sua moglie. La qual cosa mi pare essere un tributo monumentale e religioso ( nel senso laico del termine ) all'Amore. Ho invidia e solo in parte comprendo il Suo sentimento; nell'antichit si erigevano monumenti nelle forme pi diverse: Voi avete eretto "questo" monumento.
Oggi, parlando d'altro, ho chiesto di Lei in un negozio di ferromodellismo, dove ho acquistato qualcosina per il mio layout, e mi han detto che Lei "un personaggio" particolare. A prescindere che tutti siamo "particolari" in quanto individui diversi per definizione, mi ha incuriosito questa Sua nomea. Per altro mi han detto che persona disponibile e tutt'altro che inavvicinabile.

buona sera; bellissimo, mi piacerebbe vederlo dal vivo, sono espressioni sentite che, per quante ne abbia gi ricevute, Le faranno sicuramente piacere. Volevo farLe una richiesta molto pi banale ( non per non continuare con i complimenti, tanto che le parole non sono sufficenti ad esprimere lo stupore dello scopire foto dopo foto ): tutto digitalizzato o analogico? Sto cercando di fare qualcosa ( non alla Sua altezza, ovviamente ) e volevo avere lumi su questa questione tecnica, dovendo impostare la struttura e cercando qualche "consiglio" imparziale da chi ha fatto e che non sia un negoziante. Mi scusi se Le ho posto una questione, ma immagino che il mailing che Lei ha organizzato serva pure a questo. Inoltre mi chiedevo se esiste un club "fisico" ( di "roba" americana ) oltre che "virtuale". Grazie |

The web site layout I put on the registration (Upper Hunter)is in fact a club layout of Wyong & Districts Model Railway Club on the New South Wales Central Coast, a club that I am in the process of joining. When I retire in 6 years I intend to move to Western Australia where I will then build my own layout based on the start up of National Rail (February 1993) & the sell off of Australian National & Westrail (pre 2000) & will be based on Parkeston just out of Kalgoorlie in WA. |
