I really enjoyed your layout. I live in the rockies and am modeling a logging branch on my railroad and I have gotten a lot of ideas from your photos.

Angelo, you truly humble me. Your railroad and website is fantastic. I was wondering if your layout is open for viewing, I will be in Italy in July-August 2006. Thanks for your contribution to our hobby, my railroad is in the planning stage and I hope to start construction in 2006. Thanks Again... David

Excellent Railroad Angelo, I still have my copy of Model Railroader from March 1986 with your earlier version of 'Tall Pine' your modelling standard is among the highest quality I have ever seen. I now model French and Italian N gauge but used to have an American HO inspired by the early layouts I saw in magazines as a boy, yours included! Interesting isn't it? You live in Italy and model American, I live in Engaln and model French and Italian! That's the great thing about model railways, you can please yourself! Well done.

In my research into all aspects of the MRR hobby for a book project, which has extended to hundreds of websites, I have yet to see anything so all encompassing of the artform that is model railroading, as your "Tall Pines" work. Tall Pines (and the interrelationship between the site and the web based features) transcends the concepts of designing, building and operating a model, and lifts these aspects into your realm, the multi dimensional master work. My thanks, Bryan

Bench sia un convinto sostenitore del ferromodellismo nostrano, devo dire che se si bravi a fare il modellista, tutti i contesti risultano eccezionali. Complimenti

Hi Angelo, Pretty well done, that's the minimum I can say without using superlatives.Saw also your chronicals in MR. Nice to see there are some US railroaders here in EU. I'm modeling the C&O in the late 40's <-> early 50's, but I'm far away of your results. Many thanks for sharing your dream layout. Kind regards

I have to tell you this is one of the best model railroading sites I have viewed to date. Your detail on your road is fantastic. You are obviously a true devotee to the art. I will have to bring my son over to view this site. Hope you have a great day. Rick
